Suggestion Description:
This suggestion focuses on overall quality-of-life improvements, custom weapon adjustments, vehicle balance changes, and additional supporting updates detailed below.
Why add this?
Give Command and ARC Artillery Tool
104th Commander Wolffe
104th Vice Commander
104th ARC
Give artillery_command_tool
Command and ARC troopers are essentially personifications of their battalion. ARC serving in the purpose of special operations and bringing a new variant of attack, that your typical RANCOR ARC trooper doesn’t utilize, and Command being the forefront of what makes their battalion different and unique from the others. I think the inclusion of Command and ARC having access will ensure its usage more widely for events, especially when LC is unavailable and in the case of ARC give SF a tool to better reinforce their covert missions.
Remove alydus_fusioncutter from all non-104th jobs:
Remove from all Naval roles
Remove from RC Fixer
Remove from RC Atin
Replace with weapon_lvsrepair
Increase repair rate by 2.5x for the alydus_fusioncutter
The fusion cutter serves as a multi-purpose tool for the 104th, primarily used by Combat Engineers to dismantle barricades, open doors for RP purposes, and repair vehicles. Currently, vehicle repairs are performed at the same or only marginally faster rate than other battalions. As specialists, the 104th should be significantly more efficient in this role. Increasing the repair speed reinforces the battalion’s intended purpose and reduces excessive downtime during events. This increase would apply to the base weapon, benefiting custom classes while still emphasizing the 104th’s unique utility.
Change Vehicle Keys for all 104th Jobs
Make it usable on all Vehicles for 104th Jobs. We are meant to be the vehicle battalion, yet can’t access all vehicles, can’t lock fellow 104th vehicles. It would be an all around QoL update for us. Also reinstates what we were doing for our “Tow System” that we created at High Commands request. Which involved locking towed vehicles, thus forcing them to be paid for, and now potentially jacked using the jacking tool.
