1. In-Game Name:

Reverend

2. Server / Staff Rank:

GM IV

3. Why would you like to become a Senior Gamemaster?

Keeping away from the typical reasons that are present in almost every GM application, such as "making events for players" or "improving RP on the server", I specifically want to become SGM to continue improving the GM team as a whole. As a GM IV and active member in the community, I already get DMs about issues in the GM team, many of which I have already brought up in staff meetings over the past few months. I want to become SGM to help the HGMs/MGT find better, more permanent solutions to some of the issues that have been reoccurring for a while now, from issues players have with events currently to simply promoting GM creativity and activity. While I believe I have done a lot to help improve the quality of events unofficially during my time as a GM, I believe that fully committing to an SGM role would assist in improving upon the servers future events and improve the ability of our GM team even further.

4. If accepted the position what can you bring to the table as a Senior Gamemaster?

As a Business Administration Major IRL, I am already decently trained in project management and effectively leading teams of people. These are skills that ironically transfer to being a SGM on StarwarsRP quite well, as we as GMs are effectively selling the server to players with promises of numerous and quality events. I am able to fairly handle heated situations for all parties involved, and am also able to hand out punishments without bias if absolutely necessary. I am also able to effectively train new members to the GM team with any and all systems and tools they will need to make good events, as a Gamemaster I am proud to say I have never had an event that wasn't voted 5/5, and I believe that I could effectively teach my abilities to the next wave of FBG Gamemasters while also training them in what to do and what not to do, both when it comes to events and Gamemaster MOTD.

5. If you see anyone using their powers off duty as in spawning stuff, freezing people, or arresting people (the job doesn’t come with an arrest stick) how would you respond if it was the first time?

This is a situation that really depends on a lot of context, and varies from case to case. For example, is the staff member a TGM or a GM III, or is it peak hours or 12 players at 3 AM? I will attempt to explain my probable course of actions for both extremes in this scenario. Lets say there is a GM III who is freezing/arresting people while there are 50-60 players on the server, even if it is their first time abusing powers this would be cause for an immediate staff strike, as the GM would have clearly known the rules and understood that this is absolutely unacceptable. Compare this to a TGM at 3 AM messing around with their friends, personally I would not see this as serious of an offense, and would simply pull them aside, explain that even on low player counts they should not be doing this, and to only be on job and using GM powers while doing SIMs or Events (or modeling Yoda because he is a weird little gremlin whose model doesnt work). Overall, its important for an SGM to carefully navigate all scenarios like this in order to fully understand a situation and deal with the issue appropriately.
5a. From the previous question, what if the same stuff happened multiple times in the past, how would you proceed?

If there have been multiple issues with a GM about abusing powers, then it really is as simple as handing them a strike and explaining why they were given it. If it is their third GM strike, I would let the Head GM know that they need to have their staff whitelist removed and explain why it would have come to that point. When it comes to blacklist or retraining said GM, that is up for the AHGM and HGM to decide. As SGMs we are essentially just there to train new GMs, conduct GM interviews, and hand out punishments or guidance when necessary.
6. A Gamemaster is having a crappy event, What would you do and say??

Due to the wording of this question, I am going to assume that this is in reference to an event currently happening rather than one that has already passed. As any member of the GM team, it is everyone's responsibility to help fellow GMs when they are having a rough event, especially so for SGMs. If there are issues with an event then I personally would enter the Event VC, ask what is going on and see if the GM is aware of the issues or not, and hop on job to assist as necessary, providing good feedback and helping the host with simple task such as droid spawning or managing a ray shield. After the event is concluded, I would personally pull them aside and provide some helpful tips on how to keep issues like the ones that took place from happening in the future, and answering any questions they may have after the event is over. Unless the GM is actively breaking rules or purposely making the event awful for the players, there is no reason to get upset with them or hand out punishments for bad events, as they are in some capacity the SGMs fault for not properly training the new GM in the servers systems and tools.

7. Any warnings? (Staff/GM/Server Strikes)

I currently have 0 Staff and GM strikes, however I do have a server warn and to be honest I am not really sure what its for, since it has no notes attached to it that I can see.

8. How active can you be?

I can be just as active as I am now, even more so as right now is summer and I don't have university to worry about for the next few months. I should be able to start getting on the server for several hours a day when not on LOA (Family is moving states right now) and am always available on discord even on LOA. SGM is a rank that needs to be available for people both off and on the server, which I can comfortably achieve.
