Name: Vegeta/Fi

Current Rank: Sergeant Major (SGM)

Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:531553248

How many hours do you have on the server?: 211 hrs. at the time of writing

Why do you wish to become a LT?:
I’m interested in becoming a Lieutenant because I want to help with communication between higher ranks and newer members. Since I joined, there have been a few times where I didn’t really know about updates or changes, and I feel like that’s something that could be improved. I’d try to help by giving more frequent flag-ups about what’s going on or what’s coming up, while still keeping things quiet if they’re meant to stay confidential. I’d also try to keep people more engaged by announcing trainings or events more often so everyone knows what’s happening. I’ll be real, on RC, I haven't done a ton of flag ups yet, but I’m willing to step up and actually put the effort in. Another thing I want is for RC to feel more connected. Right now it doesn’t always feel like we’re fully working together, and I think it could be better. I’d like to see squads actually operate as squads, with their own objectives and people working together more closely. If we don’t have enough people, we can just work with who’s on and form smaller groups. It might not always work during regular events, but I think it’s something we could start building during SF missions and improve over time. One more thing, I also believe that having a full officer corps could benefit the battalion significantly. If we have more officers, we can help with my goal to increase communication, since we would have 3 rather than 2. More officers, the better. It can help influence decisions since there's one extra head in the room, so decisions can have more input before going through.

What makes you qualified to become a LT over other candidates?:
I'm more qualified to be a LT than others due to my experience and my friendliness to other RC. On GL, I was a Vice Commander for 501st and later Vice Commander Sev for Imperial Commandos, as well as many other command & high command positions on other servers, so I know how to communicate with others, how to host trainings, and kept them updated on new things coming to the branch. To others, I may seem unserious and mouthy, but I try my best to maintain seriousness while also keeping light-heartedness for less serious times, like downtime etc. I do this to keep a good relationship with others and to maintain the battalion's morale. It can also help with inter-battalion relations and increase overall republic camaraderie. Within the past few weeks, I've managed to recruit or assist in recruitment of 4 more commandos, double than what we had a few weeks ago. This can show my commitment to improving RC numbers as well as attracting members to join. My secondary goal, the least priority, is to become Niner. I believe there could be better options for Niner at the moment, but I believe if I were to become Niner, I could expand upon my current goals significantly.

What is the job of a LT in the Battalion?:
A Lieutenant of RC has a multitude of responsibilities. Compared to a battalion with a regular ranking structure, RC has only two officer ranks with a total limit of 3 officers, meaning they have to step up to more responsibility. Officers are there to assist NCOs with any questions they may have, as well as assisting in any sims, trainings, or tryouts they may have. They also serve as a mentor to those of lower ranks, showing the ropes to new members. They also exist as an "advisor council" for the command team to assist the commanders in any activities, decisions, or changes they may make. Overall their responsibilities are to assist NCOs, advise the command team, and regulate the standards of the Commandos.

Why should you be trusted with LT?:
I should be trusted for the same reasons why I am qualified. I'm on RC a lot, I try my best to split between my two lives but still prioritize RC. I have lots of knowledge when it comes to officer and command positions and I can use that to my advantage to better RC and learn new things about commandos. In 104th, I try to host a good amount of trainings every week, to hone the skills of my troopers. Whether it be in RP or simply weapons training, I always try to find a thing that troopers can improve on. If I can become an officer within RC, I can see my performance improving.
